Wanted:

·     Individuals experiencing memory difficulties

·     Those diagnosed with mild memory loss

·     Anyone interested in intervention for memory loss

I would like to invite anyone with questions about their memory to a new class that will start on Friday, October 14th at the Centralia Center in Wisconsin Rapids. The class will begin at 12:30 p.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m.

In the past we have been called “MEMORY BOOSTERS” and the philosophy of this club is based on the belief that memory loss does not mean giving up productive activities and community involvement.  We offer a supportive, fun, and creative atmosphere where individuals can interact with others, enjoy outings into the community and participate in stimulating activities that can strengthen memory.

Our goals are to provide:

·         A safe environment to SHARE EXPERIENCES and ASK QUESTIONS

·         FRIENDSHIP and an opportunity to TALK TO OTHERS about their experiences with memory loss

·         SUPPORT & INFORMATION

·         Stimulating activities for the MIND and BODY

The club is designed to meet the needs of both the individual with memory loss and the family. The club (name to be decided) will meet every Friday.  All potential club members must participate in an interview before starting.
